House of light celebrates Christmas and the new year.
On Tuesday, January 5th, 2010, the House of Light Celebrated Christmas and the new year with the families who attend the weekly Bible study meetings in addition to other families that the House of light reaches.
The program started with time of worship and singing. The children also shared with a song encouraging us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. The song's name is "Ya Yaso' ana mashi warak" which means, Jesus I am walking right behind you.
The new year is usually a time of making new promises and a time for new beginnings, we, at the house of light had a time of thanksgiving. Each one was given the opportunity share things from the past year they would like to thank the Lord for. They also renewed their commitments to live for Him and remain an obvious light before those who are around us. Each person lit a candle to symbolize his/her commitment before the Lord
After the time of prayer, Zaher Led the group in a time of fun games including a Christmas quiz and other fun and competition games.
