Impressions and Start of the Prison Visits 2017

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies. Hebrews 13:3 (NLT)

The bonds of the prison could not submerge the love of God in our hearts. The power of HIS Holy Spirit releases the way in front of us to announce HIS Good News of Salvation by HIS Son, Jesus-Christ

We lead the prisoners to hope; to trust the Lord; to live waiting for the real dawn in their life. This is the dawn of their spiritual salvation and the regeneration of their lives by the advent of Christ and also dawn of their physical release from the prison bonds, fruit of their hope and faith in our almighty God

By this faith and knowing how important and soul lifting it is for a prisoner to have and to read the Bible in his own mother tongue, we went in, holding Bibles in ten different languages.

The Lord so far opened the doors of 8 prisons in front of us. Inside, grateful for your financial support, we bought a bag full of sweet & salty snacks for each inmate who has a Christian background according to the permission we have from prison authorities, of who we can meet with. We took time for worship at the sound of a trumpet and a guitar that our volunteers played. Then Anis shared from the Word of God and in the end most of the inmates who joined repeated after us the prayer of repentance and asked Jesus into their hearts and lives.

“If the Son sets you free, you will really be free.” John 8:36

Usually, we go in as a group of 7 to 9 except for the prison for foreign workers whose number is above 130 persons, then there will be around 12 of us. We take time for prayer before we go into each prison premises and we walk knowing that the Lord has gone before us and prepared their hearts.   We are on fire to speak and sing in front of so many inmates as well as in front of one as the Lord sent once.

“Not by might, not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord” Zechariah 4:6

His Spirit enabled us to see overflowing joy in the eyes of people who were bind by their sins, heavy past, oppression and thoughts of revenge. We could see hard and bitter faces coming to life, and right away standing and giving their heartbreaking testimonies.

We are all washed by HIS pure blood

Praise be to our Lord for the miracles that He has done and will continue to do as we visit the other 12-15 prisons until end of March. Your prayers lift us up and we appreciate you for standing alongside all of us through these visits and all through the year as we follow up with them and their families.
